Entry #4 You have to understand that there are millions and millions of people out there who don’t have the luxuries and the opportunities that are laid out for you. In desperate times when you have nothing, your thinking modality switches from doing things to get what you WANT to doing things to get what you NEED. I’m being honest when people say they do anything for a speck of luxury because they’re hungry and because they NEED it to stay alive.  They need a way to escape; they need a life that is filled with opportunities and not just dead ends every way they look. And I’m here to warn you now: you need to learn from these people that are desiring and craving what you take for granted. Sometimes, you need to learn how to be hungry. Find what you’re hungry for… find that empty feeling, that heavy, sometimes dark place within yourself and harvest that anger and rage. Use that hunger, that anger that you’ve found and put its energies towards pushing yourself to accomplish more goals that you NEED to accomplish to progress in life. Use that unbridled rage to feed the appetite and learn to hone it. Because it’s the ones that are willing to put themselves in that dark place to realize that it’s less about what they want and more about what they really need in life; it’s the ones that are willing to sacrifice anything to suppress the hunger are going to succeed.   Danny Quach is a senior at the University of Georgia and he’s studying Health Promotion and Behavior.  He’s a powerlifter at heart and has done it for over six years.  He just competed in his first bodybuilding show in Summer of 2011.  For powerlifting, he holds some Georgia records.  In his first bodybuilding competition, he placed 2nd in Novice in INBF Southern States.  On his spare time he’s a part of the University of Georgia’s cheerleading co-ed squads; his favorite past-time?
