Tips For Healthy Eating On The Go - Beast Sports Nutrition
Team Beast athlete Christina Blair (aka Little Miss Mutant on Instagram) is here to provide some tips for eating healthy on the go.
It's not always easy to maintain your diet when traveling, but she's found a few ways to keep it both simple and effective. Give these a shot next time you're traveling for work or vacation, and watch how well they can help!

For me, eating healthy all the time is something I strive for daily. It's a mindset for me. It’s not always easy to carry around all of my food with me, so I have learned to pick foods that are high in proteins when I am out and about, or traveling on the road.
If I know I'm going to be in the car for a long day of traveling, I have learned that most gas stations carry Greek yogurt and protein bars of some kind. It's tempting to opt for a candy bar or the considerable amount of junk readily available to us, but something like Greek yogurt or a protein bar makes much more sense. Plus, they are easy to grab when I’m out.
Also, packaged foods are a go to when I’m out and about because I know the exact macro count of that specific food. It helps me plan for the rest of the day as well when I have these. That way, I know what the rest of my day can look like when traveling.
When I stop at restaurants, I gravitate towards lean meats, such as chicken or fish. I also make it a point to stay away from sauces and sugary drinks. Those may taste great, but many of them are a huge amount of calories that don't provide any benefit nutritionally. It's fine to splurge and cheat a little sometimes when traveling, but having some of these things in place help you get right back on track, or will ensure your diet doesn't totally fall off the wagon.
These are some easy-to-follow tips that you can utilize immediately. Along with all of this, I plan out my supplements that I take daily and make sure I carry them with me. Beast CLA is something a carry on the road with me and I will take it before meals.
I hope these tips help the next time you are traveling. It's the perfect way to keep your diet in check no matter where you are.
