Apple Lamb Sausage and Eggs

Apple Lamb Sausage and Eggs - Beast Sports Nutrition
Here's what you will need to make my Apple Lamb Sausage and Eggs recipe.
  • 3 eggs scrambled(1 yolk, 2 whites)
  • 1 homemade Apple Lamb Sausage
  • 1 tbsp parsley •Spices: salt & pepper
Apple Lamb Sausage Ingredients:
  • 1 lb ground Lamb
  • 1/2 apple, peeled & finely diced
  • 1 Tbsp thyme, finely chopped (or use 2 Tablespoons dried thyme)
  • 3 Tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 Tbsp fresh oregano, finely chopped (or use 2 Tablespoons dried oregano)
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
Directions:
  1. Place 3 tablespoons of coconut oil into a skillet on medium-high heat
  2. When the oil is hot add the apples, thyme, parsley, and oregano until the apples soften. About 7-8 minutes
  3. Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes
  4. Mix the meat with everything in the skillet, as well as the garlic powder, salt and pepper (including any leftover oil)
  5. Preheat oven to 425 degrees
  6. Scoop out about 1/4 cup of the meat mixture (makes about 8) and shape into long sausages
  7. Place sausages on a baking tray
  8. Bake at 425 for about 20 minutes
* Alternatively you can pan fry them. I like to pan fry them for a few minutes, covered, flipping them back and forth until browned and thoroughly cooked. Note: There are three important temperatures to remember when cooking meat or eggs at home: Eggs and all ground meats must be cooked to 160°F; poultry and fowl to 165°F; and fresh meat steaks, chops and roasts to 145°F. These temperatures are only suggestive, so be sure to research and find the exact temperature advisement's from your local department of health. Enjoy.
