Let her explain how she executes her meal planning while in the midst of her busy lifestyle. I live this struggle every day. Even though I have long work days that lead into extended school nights, I still make my health a priority – and you should, too! If you are a full-time employee, a part-time student, an entrepreneur or live a busy lifestyle, here are some easy tips for busy meal planning. 1. Smart Snacks I call my snacks “smart snacks” because of their purpose. Smart snacks help provide the energy to get you through  width= your busy day and also offers nutritional value to support your fitness goals. Having a sedentary job requires a lot of time sitting at a computer screen, which can lead to mindless snacking. Prepare some “smart snacks” to take to work. Some smart snacks include, fruits, almonds, vegetables and hummus. 2. Stay Hydrated Meal planning isn’t just about food. It’s also about water intake. Pack a large water bottle to take with you to work. Keep it around with you all day, from meetings to lunch. Make sure to refill it before it gets too low!
